Question: What is an Internet Appliance?

An Internet Appliance is any device which connects to the Internet and obtains data for some specific purpose. A simple (and one of the original) is the dedicated email client. A small computer screen would sit on your furniture and give you instant access to your mail. Sure Blackberries have taken the place of those devices, but now we see appliances to display the weather, the traffic, and the local deals at your supermarket.
