Seems a little silly when you think about it. A brand like Polo or Hilfiger is valuable and has built an image. Why would they sell a cap with just their giant logo on it? Money and more money! First they get to earn money on the sale, capitalizing on their brand popularity by selling, well, their brand logo. Secondly they get free advertising when the consumer wears that product. The most expensive and exclusive brands in the world don't flaunt it and their customers don't want to show it off either... something to think about.
